I am a BIG advocate for student-led learning. I will revisit concepts. I will give extra examples and go the extra mile to help you learn and understand content but that will all be led by the student. For example, I will ask a lot of questions when presented with content to help with: "Where in the material are you getting lost?" Let's explore that. "What vocabulary is holding you back from understanding the information presented?" Let's explore that. I very much rely on the student's own self-reflection about their own understanding of the material in order to help guide their learning and mastery of the subject.
Science and math go hand-in-hand. You can't have ability in one without the other. I am certified to teach science courses, but I am great at math so that I can help develop a deeper understanding of the science material.
I have my bachelors of science in physical science education. I am currently certified to teach physics, chemistry, and physical science. I have experience teaching biology and forensic science as well.
