Currently I am working as a Scientist at a Biotech company focused on treating rare diseases. Within this position I have taught and trained many colleagues on a variety of lab techniques, different assays, and analytical methods to data interpretation. With this I have had to adapt my style of teaching as many of me colleagues and peers are of different nationalities, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. With this I have learned how to identify how a person learns from an individual perspective and adapt and change how I approach my teaching to be the most effective for each person. I feel that this experience really sets me apart from other tutors in that I can provide a more personalized teaching experience that caters to each student's strengths.
