I worked in many different medical settings from Urgent Care's, Orthopedic centers, to trauma hospitals. I became an open lab instructor for radiology at the college I attended for about a year. I stopped when I began working in Interventional Radiography where I continued to learn about various procedures and completed trainings to place PICC and Midlines on my own.

My name is Cayla. I graduated from a community college with an Associates in Radiography in 2013. I worked in many different medical settings from Urgent Care's, Orthopedic centers, to trauma hospitals. I became an open lab instructor for radiology at the college I attended for about a year. I stopped when I began working in Interventional Radiography where I continued to learn about various procedures and completed trainings to place PICC and Midlines on my own.
After five years in that field, I moved to a position in Electrophysiology. I also worked in the Cath Lab at this facility when I was able to. I was a scrub tech, circulator, and ran stimulation protocols for ablations and EP studies. I worked there for three years and became efficient enough I felt I could become a Clinical Specialist for a Cardiac mapping position. Now I am a Clinical Specialist II doing cardiac EP mapping for a large company, and continue to develop skills and chase education to further my career.
I am here because I want to help other people who have a dream of pushing themselves and finding the right path to a clinical role that they feel is right for them. I have great insight on what to do and when. I haven't always gotten the jobs I wanted, but I have also turned down some that I didn't feel were the right move for me. I can help you find possible paths that you don't know are there!
