I have a passion for chemistry and math and would like to increase students knowledge of those subjects. I tutored elementary and high school students throughout my professional career. Also, when I was in college I had help from tutors to increase my grades. I believe it is crucial to have a tutor outside of class to gain a real in-depth knowledge of those subjects. Tutoring is a great way to learn a lot more than you would normally learn by just attending class and studying on your own. I am highly skilled in science and math and I am confident that I can help your student succeed in those subjects.
My approach to tutoring is meeting the student where they are. If they need more supplemental study guides, I will provide that for them. If they need more one on one practice or reviews, I will also provide that. I think it's important to have some ability to analyze the problems based on some knowledge of the subject. So making sure the student has a bank of knowledge they can reference in their minds is important.
