I'm Tonya and I'm a recent retiree due to Covid. I'm looking to make a difference in your child's life. Covid has changed and uprooted everyone's life. I'm here to help and am available all the time. I am a very caring, patient, outgoing person, who is great at problem solving. I spent my career in the hospitality field, working with all kinds of people. I never met a stranger. I am here to ease some of the pressures and stress in these trying times.

I'm not a math scholar but I do have a solid knowledge of basic math, fractions, percentages. I spent a lifetime working in a career that called for using all aspects of math on a daily basis. I could easily help in elementary school math.

I'm very proficient in English, including grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure to name a few. On an elementary school level or middle school level, I can help with all aspects of English.

I'm here to help ease your pain in learning. As a retiree, I've had a lifetime of experiences. I'm very patient with children and very good at making sense of something and finding a solution. Because I am not working , I can accommodate your schedule. I'm very flexible and can find the good in anything. I always have a smile on my face and am very excited to start this next phase of my life helping our children move forward and succeed in this new normal we have.
