Tutor with experience in reading and writing for academic success

I enjoy working with students to help build their confidence and skills through tutoring. Primarily, I work with high school and college students but do tutor some elementary and middle school students on reading and writing comprehension. With high school and college students, I tutor in a variety of subjects: English, reading, writing, law, business, management, and nonprofit studies. I have also tutored on college preparation such as admissions essays and interview prep. Several of my students report that they feel they have the tools to tackle their essays with confidence after working with me. I take time to help students think about what they want to put on paper in their own words and provide feedback through the writing process.

During my graduate studies, I worked on a variety of research projects which also enable me to assist graduate-level students with the research process, including academic writing.
