I believe that a robust education in the sciences is essential for all students, and I know that every student can be a scientist if he or she is given the tools to succeed. And even more so, I believe that science is just plain fun.

I would love to share my knowledge and experience of science with your student and help them build the tools necessary to think like a scientist, understand the world around them, and succeed in their classes.

I have a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Earth & Environmental Science, and I previously taught 6th & 7th grade general science, 8th grade physics, and 9th grade biology at a small, private school. And, perhaps most importantly, I love working with children and sharing my enthusiasm for science with them so that they, too, can wonder at the world around them.
