Hello, I'm Kellie! A fourth year DDS candidate at Ohio State University with a degree in Kinesiology and pre-medicine from Miami University. As someone who benefited myself from having a tutor in high school that I could both relate to and learn from, I found myself with a desire to share those skills and study habits with others, which is when I became involved in the tutoring center on my college campus. I have extensive knowledge in all basic sciences including anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and biology, haven taken these classes at a high level in both my undergraduate career and again in dental school.
I also scored in the top percentiles of both the ACT and DAT, and have been able to learn how to cater my learning and teaching to specific standardized test topics such as reading. In addition to this, I have learned the way standardized test questions are asked, and test taking strategies that can make acing these intimidating tests more achievable. I am very personable and can relate to students well as I was in these shoes not too long ago. I have adopted a teaching style of honing in on confusing topics and making them more manageable.
