Hi, I’m Chiara! I’m a biology and genetics tutor with an M.S. in Human Genetics, a dual undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (summa cum laude), and over four years of teaching and tutoring experience, along with eight years in biology-focused healthcare and research.

I specialize in working with AP Biology students, with a strong focus on test-taking strategy and FRQ approach. Many students understand the material but lose points on the exam due to how they interpret questions and structure their answers. I help students break down prompts, use precise biological language, and clearly communicate their reasoning to maximize points.

In addition to AP Bio, I work with IB Biology (HL and SL), college-level biology and genetics, molecular and cell biology, and evolution. I support students in challenging topics such as gene expression, inheritance patterns, and biochemical pathways, while also helping them apply concepts effectively on exams.
