I am currently an undergraduate at The Ohio State University majoring in Health Sciences and with a minor in Anatomy. Helping students succeed has always been one of my passions, and I come to the table with a diverse bag of experiences, having served as a self-employed SAT Math tutor, university-employed General Chemistry Tutor, and even as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry.
I believe a good tutor is one who needs to be enthusiastic, engaging, understanding, and compassionate. Tutors do not just help students understand the content - we are also supposed to help the student overcome any anxieties and fears they may have regarding the subject matter. My approach is built on meeting the student where they are: first, understanding where they are and what they think and them guiding them onwards from there. I believe that this provides students the opportunity to build their own launchpad towards success, while also feeling confident that they are not alone in this journey.
