During high school, I was a Calculus I teaching assistant, and during college, I tutored reading to elementary schools students online and taught Portuguese (both in-person and virtually) to undergraduate students. All were volunteer experiences due to my love and vocation for teaching. I have experience dealing with and adapting to a wide variety of learning styles and personalities. My years of experience have led me to become a strong proponent of Socratic questioning as the quintessential teaching approach for most disciplines, in addition to the methods of demonstration and comprehensible input.
