Teaching is my number one calling. With nearly 9+ years of experience, I’ve worked with students from elementary to advanced college levels. I started as a peer tutor in physics and statistics while earning my Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, graduating in the top 1% of my class. My background includes coursework in advanced physics, applied mathematics, and engineering concepts, which strengthened my expertise and passion for interdisciplinary education.
After completing my degree, I transitioned into teaching full-time, spending nine years leading IB and AP programs in physics, statistics, and engineering. Currently, I lead a science department, working with a diverse group of students to prepare them for academic and professional success.
I specialize in helping students of all ability levels in one-on-one or group settings, thriving on the "ah-ha!" moments when complex topics suddenly become clear. As someone who initially struggled with these subjects, I’ve developed time-tested strategies to make challenging concepts accessible and enjoyable. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that anyone can master difficult subjects with the right guidance. Over my career, I’ve helped over 4,000 students transform their confidence and skills, many of whom have gone on to advanced degrees and rewarding careers in engineering, medicine, and research.
Beyond teaching, I’ve worked in research roles that provided practical insights into real-world applications of science and engineering. These experiences allow me to connect classroom learning to tangible outcomes, inspiring curiosity in my students.
Whether you need help with physics, statistics, electrical engineering concepts, or general problem-solving, I’m here to guide you. I offer in-person or online tutoring with a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Reach out to schedule a session or ask about my qualifications. Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals!
