My goal as an educator is to always reveal something new to the students regarding the subject matter being discussed and try to relate it to worldly affairs as much as I can. That way, they are exposed to different views on a specific subject. My hope is to lead them to question their current views on what is being discussed. Something I would like to initiate is trying to have more conversations and less lecturing. Also, find more ways to relate the content being taught to every day and real-world activities; that way, the students will have a deeper and greater understanding of the importance of the subject matter.
