I'm excited to share my knowledge and aid you on your mathematical journey! I received two Bachelor's degrees from Kansas State University in Mathematics and Computer Science. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Mathematics department at The Ohio State University. My research uses differential equations, probability, and network science for practical applications.

As a graduate student in mathematics, I have tutored and taught various topics in the field. I have 3+ years of online 1-on-1 tutoring experience for college-level mathematics. I've tutored subjects like Math for Elementary Teachers, Calculus, etc. I have also taught as a GTA in a classroom for a year. During that year, I taught Business Calculus and College Algebra at OSU. Additionally, I have graded homework for Calculus courses at my undergraduate institution for about a year. While my experience is currently limited to college students, I am happy to work with students of any age.

As an instructor, I learned that hating math is a universal feeling. I understand that I may never get the chance to change your mind on that front. I like emphasizing a student's mathematical strengths and adjusting lesson plans to support weaknesses. I strive to get students to that "Aha" moment where it all clicks into place.
