Gerard is an exceptionally good teacher. He is very kind and patience with the kids. My kid who never liked to sit and study for more than 15 mins, he enjoys attending classes now. Gerard is very organized and has excellent plans and materials for the kids and kids get benefitted from those. We noticed significant improvement in reading and writing skills in our kid after he started attending classes provided by Gerard. We will highly recommend him as he is the best teacher our kid ever have. Thank you Gerard for helping our kid.

More than satisfied with Mr. Gerarad Hall!

I was looking for additional help for my 9 year old son (Math) and my 11 year old son (English/Language/Arts). After searching for weeks on other platforms and asking local friends, I stumbled upon Wyzant and found Mr. Gerard Hall. We scheduled a "pre-meet" so he could speak with me and meet my sons. He listened to what I want to accomplish and shared his roadmap on how best to get there as a team. He took the time to answer questions my sons and I had. I hung up feeling heard and encouraged. Mr. Hall tutors my sons on two different days and he is absolutely delivering on his agreement. He is patient, encouraging, and makes sure my boys UNDERSTAND concepts being discussed. Despite being on video, Mr. Hall is in tune and engaged in each session. He can tell when my sons need a quick break. He will pause "working" and have a meaningful conversation with them or let them share something off topic before getting back on task. For my boys, this short pause does wonders to their ability to focus and retain information. By choice, I save the last 5 or 10 minutes of each session so he and I can discuss "next steps" and adjust our roadmap to success accordingly. I highly recommend Mr. Hall for students in need of help.
