Hello and thank you for considering me as your tutor. The first thing you should know about me is that I am not just a tutor. Nor am I just a teacher. I am actually a professional historian, with expertise and experiences that came from more than just my degrees. I have published two books, and many articles. My dissertation won three global awards. I have worked in archives - what historians do - in foreign languages across four continents. Those experiences, of course, are buttressed by my PhD in History, in addition to two MAs in History and a BA. I was a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History - winning that job when the chances for success were less than 4%. I have taught university-level history, in addition to community college, middle school, and high school. I have more than a decade of teaching and tutoring experience.

All that is to say you are getting a lot of bang for your buck with me. I will help you finish your assignment, understand the place of that assignment in your current stage of education, and help you prepare for whatever is next in your learning journey. Students consistently describe me not only as extremely knowledgeable, but open, relatable, funny, and easy to work with. Teaching is one of my life’s passions. I am in school once again - this time for a law degree- and so I know how frustrating learning can be. I’ll make it as enjoyable and easy as possible for you.
