PASSED STEP 1 - From the 50s to the 70s in 3 Sessions
Jacob is hands down THE BEST tutor for Step 1. When I first reached out to him, I was scoring in the 50s on my practice NBMEs and felt overwhelmed about how to improve. From the very first session, Jacob helped me identify my weak areas, choose resources that actually worked for my learning style, and build a study plan that was both efficient and realistic. After just 3 sessions and 4 weeks, I was consistently scoring in the 70s on my practice NBMEs and walked into my exam feeling confident. I passed Step 1 on my first attempt. Jacob’s teaching style is strategic and targets your individual needs. Instead of wasting time memorizing, Jacob helped me focus on high-yield concepts, improve my test-taking strategy, and make measurable progress quickly. Beyond academics, he was also an incredible source of support throughout the entire process. Super intelligent and patient tutor!
Passing Level 1 honestly would not have been possible for me without Jacob’s help. What made the biggest difference was how he was able to take overwhelming, complicated topics and break them down in a way that finally clicked. Three weeks into studying for Step 2, I found myself with NBME scores of 234, 233, and then a drop to 227. I reached out to Jacob and he helped me build knowledge, and therefore confidence with UWorld questions over the next 1.5 weeks. When we switched over to purely NBME content for the next 2 weeks, he helped me approach questions in a time-efficient manner, and build good testing practices/rules. I scored 261 on test day with practice NBMEs that predicted this score, which would not have been possible without the knowledge, strategies, and confidence Jacob helped me build. Could not more highly recommend someone!!!
