Jacob is one of the best tutors there are for STEP 1! He is incredibly knowledgable and did an amazing job breaking down complex topics into simpler terms for me to understand. He tailored each session to focus on my weak areas, which made our time together very productive. He taught me how to strategize and think through various high-yield questions, which significantly boosted my confidence going into the exam. He also helped me make the most of my Anki and other study tools, showing me how to be more efficient with studying on my own. Knowledgeable, strategy-oriented, encouraging tutor
Three weeks into studying for Step 2, I found myself with NBME scores of 234, 233, and then a drop to 227. I reached out to Jacob and he helped me build knowledge, and therefore confidence with UWorld questions over the next 1.5 weeks. When we switched over to purely NBME content for the next 2 weeks, he helped me approach questions in a time-efficient manner, and build good testing practices/rules. I scored 261 on test day with practice NBMEs that predicted this score, which would not have been possible without the knowledge, strategies, and confidence Jacob helped me build. Could not more highly recommend someone!!!

Jacobs was a game-changer when it came to studying for Lvl 1. Each session is packed with high-yield pearls and test-taking strategies that actually stick. We practiced how to think through vignettes, dissect distractors, and manage timing. Jacob was always patient, encouraging, and great at turning weak areas into strengths with targeted question sets and mini “teach-backs.” I leave every session with a concrete plan and feel noticeably more confident.
