Hello! My name is Danish. I hold a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (Class of 2025), a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a strong foundation in the biological sciences and clinical medicine.

My tutoring and teaching experience spans over 10 years, during which I’ve worked with students ranging from elementary school to medical school. Most recently, I served as a Peer-Assisted Tutor at ACOM, where I mentored first-year medical students in anatomical sciences and molecular medicine. I led group review sessions and one-on-one tutoring meetings, helping students build strong conceptual frameworks and adopt effective study techniques such as spaced repetition, visual aids, and practice-based learning.

Previously, I volunteered as an algebra and geometry tutor as well as an after-school tutor for underserved elementary and middle school students. My approach always prioritizes clarity, encouragement, and adaptability to different learning styles. In both structured programs and informal settings, I’ve aimed to help students not only grasp material but gain the confidence to tackle challenges independently.

My teaching style combines patience, enthusiasm, and structured guidance. I have worked in one-on-one, small group, and classroom-adjacent settings, and I especially enjoy making difficult topics feel approachable and relevant. It is my passion to help students obtain their “Aha” moments, and I look forward to continuing to help students succeed through personalized, evidence-based support.

Experienced Communicator

Danish met me where I was at in my MCAT prep cycle. I provided the questions from practice exams and we jumped right into the session. We did walkthroughs of MCAT passages and questions. I was able to pickup on new strategies which are extremely beneficial. He provided additional content that was appropriate to my follow-up questions. His personal journey was inspiring as well. Highly recommend.
