My educational journey began in rural Iowa, where I attended Marquette Catholic Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduating high school in 2020, I was directly admitted to the Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Program in the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As I explored various scientific disciplines and gained career insights, I transitioned my focus to Chemistry. In May 2024, I earned a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Leadership, completing undergraduate research in polymer science and achieving certification from the American Chemical Society.

Post-graduation, I am excited to return to my tutoring "roots" and contribute to education, particularly by inspiring and empowering women in STEM fields. My tutoring experience began in 2019 during my junior year of high school. Over the next three years, I worked with middle and high school students in subjects such as Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus I, Biology, and English. Upon entering college, I extended my tutoring efforts to peers, supporting them in areas including Math, Chemistry, Physics, and English.

In every tutoring session, my priority is to foster confidence and success in my students through affirming and engaging teaching methods. I strive to build meaningful connections that encourage a positive outlook on learning. My approach includes preparing lesson plans, providing clear examples, breaking down complex problems step-by-step, and revisiting prior material to reinforce understanding. While my experience primarily involves one-on-one sessions, I am open to group formats or other teaching arrangements.

I am passionate about tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs and would be happy to answer any questions or discuss specific goals. I look forward to the opportunity to support students in achieving their academic potential.
