I was born and raised in what was once Czechoslovakia, now known as Czechia. My entire educational journey—from elementary to college—unfolded in Czechia. Both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees revolved around Czech studies, specializing in teaching. Alongside, I diligently pursued additional teaching certifications to stay updated with evolving techniques.

My teaching experience encompasses a wide age range, spanning from kindergarten to high school, college students, and even older adults. I have been tutoring for over 20 years now.

In my tutoring approach, I craft personalized study plans tailored to individual student qualifications and abilities. Recognizing the uniqueness in how each person learns, I adapt my classes accordingly, emphasizing interactive methods that prioritize conversation to enhance learning curves. I find fulfillment in working with students across all academic levels and particularly resonate with those who struggle to concentrate, as I faced similar challenges in my childhood. Additionally, I derive joy from designing enjoyable school activities and assignments for students seeking additional enrichment.

My expertise lies in Czech language tutoring, an area to which I've dedicated my extensive education and lifelong passion. While most of my tutoring occurs virtually, I also offer in-person sessions in Cleveland, OH, and neighboring areas. I possess proficiency in various online teaching platforms like Zoom, Canvas, Kahoot, Padlet, Microsoft, Google, and Wyzant.
