Hello! I am a current medical student who graduated from Kent State University with a bachelors degree in integrated life sciences. I have had an opportunity to mentor many students in my years in medical school as well as a track record of tutoring students from other classes while in High school and College. My main focus is mostly related to biological sciences, chemistry and other STEM areas. However, I mostly specialize in these in a healthcare related setting. I have mentored students in the past regarding in admissions to medicine and worked with them on understanding fundamentals in the building blocks of medicine. Much of this has translated well into outreach in general STEM fields for high school students. I would love to be a part of your educational journey and look forward to helping each student understand the fundamentals of Science in an engaging way.
I know what it takes to excel from a young age. My degree is from a combined BSMD program so I am familiar with concepts that pertain to medicine, including many STEM areas and have had to excel in many forms--from Biology, Chemistry, Math, English and more. I also had to excel in standardized testing, namely the ACT. As a result, I am fairly adept at subjects leading into higher STEM fields as well as more generalized areas of education.
