employed at Landor Associates, specializing in visual identity and branding. His areas of research include typography, brand identity systems, motion design, film-making and design as an agent of social change. Numerous publications
have featured his work including, Design: Type: A Seductive Collection of Alluring Type Designs, Creative Anarchy: How to Break the Rules of Graphic Design for Creative Success and Inside the World of Board Graphics: Skate, Surf, Snow
(Modern Dog). His film and motion design work has been selected in the American International film festival, STIFF (Seattle Transmedia Independent Film Festival), 9th Arts Festival of Miami, Imaginarium Convention, Denver Underground Film Festival and many more. Professor S.’s design work has been recognized nationally and internationally including Graphis, International Visual Identity Awards, Creativity International and he was selected as one of Creative Quarterly’s top 100 artists, photographers and designers for its 100 Best Annual.
