My name is Lindsey, and I am passionate about helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence in their abilities. With a strong background in education, career development, and student mentorship, I have spent several years working with learners of all ages, from teenagers to young adults. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University and a Deaf Studies Certificate from Cincinnati State. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Pace University while also working as a Program Coordinator at the Sharonville Community Center. My diverse educational background allows me to take a well-rounded approach to tutoring, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also build essential problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

I have extensive experience working in one-on-one and group tutoring settings, particularly with high school students preparing for college and career opportunities. My tutoring subjects include English, career development, ASL, and academic writing, and I specialize in helping students with study skills, organization, test preparation, and resume writing. My approach is highly personalized—I assess each student’s learning style and tailor my methods to fit their individual needs. I believe in making learning engaging, interactive, and relevant to real-world applications, which helps students retain information and stay motivated. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking on new challenges.
