Elementary through High School Tutor: Math & Physics Specialty

Hi! I’m Anna. I have a Master’s degree in Astrophysics, and Bachelor’s degrees in Astrophysics and Sociology. I have six years of in-person volunteer tutoring experience working with elementary school students. I also have experience grading assignments for Python programming and Astronomy college courses. However, I am available for online tutoring for ANY age or skill level, through high school (including some AP courses).

I can tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Probability, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics (1, 2, and Mechanics), Astronomy, as well as Elementary-level subjects (Math, English, etc.), and ACT/SAT test prep. If you need help in a related subject area that’s not in this list, feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to let you know if I’d be a good fit.

I am here to help you work through homework sets or problems from class you didn’t understand. I can help you prepare for upcoming tests. I am here to help you succeed! If you select me to be your tutor, we would be a team, with the shared goal of improving your learning and understanding. I am happy to alter my approach depending on how you learn best, whether you prefer more independence and just need some accountability, whether you appreciate more hands-on learning with pencil-and-paper or virtual whiteboards, whether you learn best by listening, reading, visualizing, or any other number of preferences.

I am happy to see students as frequently or as little as desired – whether it’s once every two weeks just for a semester in a tricky class, or twice weekly for a few years developing specific skillsets and working through different classes.
