Hello!

I'm Ryan and I appreciate you taking the time to learn about me. I will keep it brief, as this next step is more about you. Diligent, honest research is a recipe for success, so we're already on the right path together. I have an instinct to coach and find success through other's discovery of skills, honing of passions, and fulfillment of goals & dreams.

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you are from the area, I attended The Summit for high school. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in English & minor in Creative Writing. My lifelong dream was to be a teacher, and perhaps it still is. While many of my peers spent summers interning in corporate jobs, I spent them as a counselor and basketball instructor at Camp Laurel in Readfield, Maine. Camp Laurel is a highly-regarded summer camp and touts impressive staff, campgrounds, and instruction. As a walk-on for the Wake Forest basketball team, I enjoyed coaching campers ages 6-15 how to play the game. I teach, tutor, and coach other subjects much like basketball - with hands-on instruction mixed with Xs & Os, understanding fundamentals and building on them in each lesson, learning through practice like running sets & plays, and getting hands-on experience in game-like scenarios.

I value teaching and coaching as much as I enjoy doing it. I, too, have used tutors, coaches, training, and private instruction to better various areas of my life. You can't do it alone and it's imperative to always learn from those ahead of you. I used a mix of coaching and my passion for video production to launch a new career and find incredible success. Fast forward to present day, I have taught summer courses on Video Editing & Production. I created a course module for Adobe Premiere Pro video software and sold hundreds of copies online to aspiring videographers. It all comes full-circle and revolves around teaching the next generation of talent and inspiration.
