My background has allowed me to work closely with students in grades K–12, both in public school settings and specialized private schools, where I have taught, coached, and created systems to help students learn in ways that match how their brains work.
Across my years as an intervention specialist and later as a school leader, I have supported hundreds of students through individualized instruction, targeted intervention, and executive function coaching. My approach is warm and encouraging, yet structured and clear. Students often come to me overwhelmed or unsure of where to begin, and together we build routines, study strategies, and organizational systems that help them feel capable and confident again. I believe in connecting with students as people first, creating a space where they feel understood, not judged, while giving them step-by-step tools that lead to real academic progress.
I specialize in helping students develop planning skills, time management, task initiation, and study habits, as well as improving reading, writing, and foundational academic skills. I work closely with parents to ensure consistency between sessions and home routines, and I adjust my methods based on each student’s needs, strengths, and learning style. Whether a student is seeking support with daily assignments, preparing for tests, or learning how to manage school more independently, I bring a blend of expertise, patience, and practical strategies that help them grow well beyond the tutoring session.
