I am a licensed 7–12 mathematics teacher with 16 years of experience in the classroom. I currently teach at a career and technical education center in Ohio, where I also serve as the mathematics department chair. I specialize in Algebra and ACT Math preparation, and I’ve worked with a wide range of students, including high school juniors and seniors—many of whom are building foundational skills or preparing for college entrance exams. My approach focuses on clear, step-by-step instruction tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a small university in Ohio, where I also worked as a math tutor in the student resource center. That early experience sparked my passion for teaching and eventually led me to return to school to obtain my 7–12 math teaching licensure. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of students improve their math confidence and performance through both classroom instruction and individualized support.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex concepts into manageable parts and create a supportive learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. Whether you're looking to master Algebra topics or increase your ACT Math score, I bring patience, encouragement, and proven strategies to every session to help you reach your goals.
