For more than five years, I have had the privilege of teaching mathematics to learners of all ages, from middle school through college and beyond. My journey has taken me from the classroom, where I served as both a high school teacher and adjunct professor, to my current role as a data scientist. For more than five years, I have had the privilege of teaching mathematics to learners of all ages, from middle school through college and beyond. My journey has taken me from the classroom, where I served as both a high school teacher and adjunct professor, to my current role as a data scientist. Along the way, I discovered that tutoring allows me to combine my love of teaching with my passion for problem solving. I specialize in subjects such as Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus I–III, AP Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, and exam preparation for the ACT, SAT, and GRE. Because of my background in analytics, I also support students in data analysis, experimental design, and tools like Excel, SQL, Python, SAS, and R. My goal is always to help students see mathematics not just as a subject to pass, but as a foundation for academic success and real-world opportunity.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and focused on measurable progress. I create customized learning plans, explain concepts step-by-step, and provide targeted practice so students can strengthen weak areas and build confidence. One of my favorite strategies is guiding students through a three-step problem-solving framework: (1) identify the given information, (2) paraphrase the question, and (3) construct the solution using the correct theorem, formula, or diagram. This process helps learners move beyond memorization and toward genuine understanding. With a B.S. in Mathematics, certification to teach grades 6–12, and recognition in data science competitions, I bring both academic and practical expertise to every session. Whether you are preparing for an exam, tackling coursework, or simply aiming to improve your problem-solving skills, I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve lasting success in mathematics.
