I first discovered my passion for tutoring in middle school, when I began helping fifth graders with their schoolwork. As I progressed into high school, I continued tutoring peers during my study hall hours, focusing on clarifying concepts and breaking down assignments into manageable steps. These early experiences gave me an understanding of how to adjust my teaching style depending on the learner’s needs, whether that meant explaining topics more simply, reviewing step by step, or practicing with examples until they felt confident.

In college, I have expanded my tutoring experience by assisting classmates with Anatomy and Physiology, as well as supporting my younger siblings with their elementary and middle school coursework in an online learning environment. This has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of ages, from children to young adults, and to adapt my approach to different learning levels. I enjoy combining patience, encouragement, and clear explanations to create a supportive learning atmosphere where students can succeed.

I have been attending Kettering College since the fall of 2023 and I am now a nursing student, having successfully completed all of my prerequisite courses with a 78% or higher. My educational background has strengthened my foundation in the sciences, while my tutoring experiences have taught me how to communicate complex information in a way that others can easily understand. I am excited to continue helping students reach their academic goals by sharing both my knowledge and my passion for learning.
