Welcome! I’m Jenna! I’m currently in my final year at Bowling Green State University, pursuing a degree in Secondary English Education, where I maintain a 3.938 GPA. Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and over the past seven years, I’ve gained hands-on experience tutoring and teaching students of all ages, from elementary school to high school seniors.

I’ve worked in various settings, including one-on-one sessions, small group tutoring, virtual classrooms, and full high school English classes. Through an online tutoring program called A Grade Ahead, I have tutored elementary students in English and mathematics over Zoom. I was also a contact for Minster Local Schools as a tutor when I was in high school and college. Due to that, I was able to teach a couple of high school students Geometry and Algebra, and an elementary student fourth and fifth grade level math. I have taught English literature and writing classrooms across multiple schools in the Toledo and Bowling Green area, including Penta Career Center, because of student teaching through my undergrad program over the past three years. Also, during my seasonal breaks from college, I sub at Minster Elementary and High School.

What I’ve learned through all this experience is that every student learns differently. My goal as an educator is to adapt my teaching methods and tools to match each student's unique learning style, pace, and interests, for I want my students to feel supported, motivated, and capable.

I am always happy to adjust my approach based on feedback and am quick to respond to messages, questions, or scheduling needs with at least three hours' notice before scheduled appointments. Please feel free to reach out through this site if you have any questions or would like to schedule a session. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
