I hold a bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies, an MA in Jewish Languages and a PhD in Hebrew and Oriental Studies. My academic background, combined with years of practical experience, has given me a strong foundation in both subject matter expertise and effective instructional strategies. I’ve been tutoring and teaching for over eight years, working with students from elementary school through college. My experience spans public school classrooms, one-on-one private sessions for adults and children, and adult education. This broad range of settings has taught me how to adapt my methods to best suit each individual learner’s needs.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and rooted in building confidence alongside competence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, pace, and goals. For younger students, I often incorporate visuals, interactive activities, and storytelling to keep them engaged and help them connect with the material. For older students, particularly in writing or test prep, I focus on developing critical thinking and structured practice, using real-world examples and collaborative discussions. I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also enjoy the learning process.
