Dean’s List Biology Major with Associate Degrees in Science & Art

I am currently a Biology major with associate degrees in both Science and Arts, and I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in their academic abilities. I have completed mathematics coursework through Differential Equations and have taken General Chemistry I and II, and I am currently studying Organic Chemistry. In biology, I have completed high school Biology as well as Biology I and II in college, earning A+ grades in all three. My background allows me to tutor a wide range of subjects, including math, science, and writing.
I previously worked as a Math Tutor at The Ohio State University, where I supported students in pre-college math, trigonometry, geometry, and pre-calculus. I led review sessions, worked one-on-one with students, and helped break down complex concepts into clear steps. I have also been tutoring my younger sister for the past six years. She is now ten years old, and I have worked closely with her on homework, test preparation, and building strong foundational skills. This long-term experience has helped me become patient and adaptable, and I understand how important it is for students to feel comfortable asking questions. I also have experience editing and peer-reviewing essays and enjoy helping students strengthen their writing.
My tutoring approach is supportive and personalized to each student’s needs. I am happy to work directly with textbooks, lecture notes, or homework assignments to ensure sessions are practical and productive. Whether a student needs ongoing guidance or last-minute exam preparation, my goal is always to improve understanding and grades. Outside of academics, I love reading, binge-watching sitcoms, crocheting, going to the gym, playing pickleball, and I am very competitive at table tennis. I strive to create sessions that are focused, comfortable, and even enjoyable.
