I am a Biomedical Engineer with a focus in Electrical Engineering. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University and have since worked at Epic in Electronic Health Records and now as a medical device design engineer. I’ve always benefited from the mentors in my life - my dad who taught me math, my research PIs, and my Humanities teachers. Tutoring has become a meaningful way for me to give back, and Wyzant allows me to reach even more students.
My tutoring experience (~3 years):
In high school, I tutored Geometry and Calculus I, helping classmates with coursework and test prep. I also worked at a local Maker Space, guiding K-8 students through hands-on projects with Arduinos, robots, and 3D printers. I focused on keeping learning fun, interactive, and confidence-building.
In college, I interned at Lavner Ed Camps. I taught Technology and Robotics at a private elementary school in Seattle, creating daily lesson plans and helping 5-11 year olds learn and build. I later taught a design and NFT course for students aged 11-14 at UW Seattle. Even after these roles, teaching remained central in my work at Epic, where I regularly trained IT analysts, supported customers, and developed educational materials - experiences that strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
My teaching style:
My approach is fully student-centered. I aim to shape each session around your goals, helping you master material while building long-term confidence. I am patient, empathetic, and never opposed to learning alongside a student when needed. Learning can be challenging, but it should also be empowering - and I hope to bring clarity, encouragement, and joy to the process.
Feel free to message me with questions. I look forward to connecting!
