With over 14 years of experience teaching and tutoring at the high school and college level, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, supporting them as they develop essential communication, writing, and public speaking skills. From leading full classroom courses to providing one-on-one coaching and private tutoring by request, I’ve witnessed firsthand how personalized guidance can transform a student’s confidence and abilities.
My education (Ph.D., Master of Arts, & Bachelor of Arts in Communication) and my background as an associate professor of communication have given me deep insight into the challenges students often face when trying to articulate their ideas—whether in research and writing, speeches, or presentations. I believe that strong communication is the foundation of success in any field, and my goal is to help you strengthen these skills in a way that feels approachable and empowering. Whether you’re preparing for a public speaking event, polishing a research paper, or simply looking to improve your writing, I tailor each session to your individual needs and learning style.
