I have tutored for most of my academic life, starting in high school as a science and math tutor. During my sophomore year, I became a tutor for the Center of Academic Success at Manhattan College. I also became a tutor for a program called CSTEP. (Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program) at Manhattan College. In order to become a tutor for these departments, you must receive an A in the class you wish to tutor. I tutored general chemistry, organic chemistry, general biology, calculus 1, and several psychology courses. These classes, especially organic chemistry, were in high demand, and still are. I have experienced different types of questions and learning approaches unique to each student. My goal is to help the student understand the material in its entirety.
In order to tutor Calculus I for the Center of Academic Success at Manhattan College, I received an A in the course. I also tutored for the Opportunity Program at Manhattan College. I have spent about 3 years working for these programs.
I have been tutoring science subjects well before college. In college, I tutored these college-level science courses for about 4 years including at Manhattan College and outside experiences. Organic Chemistry has especially been a subject I have tutored the most base on the demand.
Feel free to contact me whenever you need help with these courses. I aim to help you to understand the material the best way suited for you.
