I have a BA from Iona College along with Microsoft & Adobe certifications from Lehman College-CUNY, and over 33 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have been working as a software instructor for 9 years at Lehman College-CUNY and I have previously been a teacher at Tuckahoe High School.

I have a BA from Iona College along with Microsoft & Adobe certifications from Lehman College-CUNY, and over 33 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have been working as a software instructor for 9 years at Lehman College-CUNY and I have previously been a teacher at Tuckahoe High School.

As a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in PowerPoint and teacher/tutor in MS Word and General Computer I get great satisfaction in helping students succeed and advance in their school and work assignments. My experience includes working with all levels of students, through working adults, in learning the Microsoft Office applications - POWERPOINT, WORD, EXCEL, PUBLISHER, and GENERAL COMPUTER.

Within the framework of my teaching career I have also managed a 25-station school computer lab and support desk, and additionally took full responsibility as webmaster for a public-school district.

I offer students a well laid out plan to work on the Microsoft Office applications listed above and provide them with ongoing venues of support during and beyond their training time. I take a strong interest in my students and am thrilled to hear of their success stories.

Additionally, I have creative photo image design experience in selecting & building the needed images, shapes, charts, & graphics which I applied to marketing a 30-year owned art gallery/picture framing business. And I went on to teach this skillset professionally in the classroom as a K-12 schoolteacher & college instructor.

I had a work/court report I had to get in ASAP. The lesson was time well spent. We covered many of the basics of LinkedIn -- how to delete and add contacts; how to send messages to contacts, etc. We also briefly discussed and looked at the workings of Facebook. Now all I have to do is practice what Frank taught me!
