I have a BA from Iona University along with Microsoft & Adobe certifications from Lehman College-CUNY, & over 35 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have been working as a software instructor for 9 years at Lehman College-CUNY & previously been as a teacher at Tuckahoe High School.

For 40+ years as a photographer/teacher I have been capturing landscapes & cityscapes (in NYC). At this time I would like to offer you help with the complete Photography cycle – plan, capture photo, edit image, exhibit work - plus the important planning that goes into creating satisfying photographs, & lastly, post processing of your images with software such as Photoshop or similar applications on your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
As a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in PowerPoint and teacher/tutor in MS Word & General Computer I get great satisfaction in helping students succeed & advance in their school & work assignments. My experience includes working with all levels of students, working professionals & adults, & retired seniors in learning the Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, Photography, Excel, Publisher, & General Computer.
Within the framework of my teaching career I have also managed a 25-station school computer lab & support desk, & additionally took full responsibility as webmaster for a public-school district.
I offer students a well laid out plan to work on the Microsoft Office applications listed above and provide them with ongoing venues of support during & beyond their training time. I take a strong interest in my students & am thrilled to hear of their success stories.

My experience includes teaching PowerPoint at Lehman College for 9 years, managing a 25-station computer lab & support desk for 9 years, along with working as webmaster for 4 years both at Tuckahoe HS/MS & owning/managing a retail art/framing business for 31 years where I utilized Word, Excel, Publisher, & Photoshop every work day. Understanding, utilizing & maximizing the complete functionality of the PC along with my software accreditations & experience has given me a solid background in General Computer skills.

As a Wyzant Tutor for the last 10 years and 514 Wyzant tutoring hours, plus as a college teacher, I am a definite user of Microsoft 365 utilizing Windows 11, Microsoft Copilot, One Drive and many of the inherent Microsoft 365 apps. I just recently worked with 3 Wyzant students in Word & PowerPoint. I have had Microsoft 365 installed on my 2 Windows PC's along with the full Microsoft 365 spectrum and have used it since it was originally released. In addition to my approved subjects, Word and PowerPoint, I constantly stress proper use of Files and Folders, Image Creation/Manipulation, File Cloud Saving, and correct File Transfer all within the scope of Microsoft 365.

Additionally, I have creative photo image design experience in selecting & building the needed images, shapes, charts, & graphics required in PowerPoint, of which I developed & applied to marketing throughout my 31-year owned art gallery/picture framing business. And I went on to teach this skillset professionally in the classroom as a K-12 school teacher, college instructor, & professional tutor.

I have a B A from Iona University and completed Adobe and Microsoft Office program cycles at Lehman College, plus I am Microsoft Certified (MOS) in PowerPoint, and I have been a past member of the Pictorial Photographers of America.
