I am a senior Civil Engineering student currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree at the City College of New York, and I also hold an Associate degree in Civil Engineering from LaGuardia Community College. Through my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in engineering mechanics, statics, calculus, and algebra. I have successfully completed advanced coursework and applied these subjects in real engineering projects, including structural design, problem solving, and analytical calculations. This background allows me to confidently tutor students in statics as well as core math subjects such as calculus and algebra.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I break down complex problems into clear, step-by-step explanations and connect theory to practical examples, especially from civil engineering applications. I emphasize free-body diagrams, equilibrium equations, and logical problem-solving techniques when teaching statics, and I adapt my explanations based on each student’s learning style. I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions.
