For the past five years, I have specialized in working with children on the autism spectrum, helping them build academic skills, confidence, and independence.
In addition to my school-day role, I work in an afterschool program from 2:00 -6:00pm, assisting 1st and 2nd grade students with homework, reading , math and organization. I understand that every child learns differently, and I tailor my teaching strategies to meet each students individual needs.
I hold a Teacher Assistant Certificate, a high school diploma and a Associate Degree in Education. I am known for my patience, clear communication and ability to create a calm, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
