I am currently enrolled as a Master’s student in chemistry, where I continue to strengthen both my subject knowledge and teaching abilities. My formal teaching experience began in Fall 2022, when I was employed by my college to instruct undergraduate students in General Chemistry. In this role, I guided students through core chemical concepts, helped them develop problem-solving skills, and supported them as they prepared for exams. This experience gave me the opportunity to explain challenging topics in clear and approachable ways, while also adapting my explanations to match the different learning styles of individual students.
In addition to teaching lecture material, I am currently employed as a laboratory teaching assistant in Analytical Chemistry. This has allowed me to work closely with students in a hands-on environment, where I help them apply theory to practice through experiments, data analysis, and lab reports. I enjoy working one-on-one as well as with groups, and I make sure to emphasize not just memorization, but also the critical thinking skills that are essential for success in chemistry. Between my graduate studies and my teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to support students at the high school, college, and introductory graduate level in chemistry.
