I am am a Special Education Provider and Guidance Counselor (NYC Public Schools K-12). I collaborate with school team members to build capacity by developing their teaching instructional strategies. I work with schools to strengthen systemic changes by identifying policies and procedures that support staff in implementing evidence-based practices effectively. I provide professional development for school administrators, special education teachers, and general education staff, in the areas of Explicit Instruction and Specially Designed Instruction. I specialize in analyzing school data and designing well-crafted lesson plans for all students, and specifically for students with disabilities. I am especially used evidence-based practices to develop phonemic awareness, phonics comprehension, and vocabulary.
