I have a strong background in education and a deep passion for helping students grow academically and personally. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and I am certified to teach students with disabilities across all grade levels. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of educational settings, including classroom teaching, small group instruction, and one-on-one tutoring. My experience ranges from working with elementary-aged children to middle school students, supporting them in subjects like reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and study skills.

My tutoring methods are highly individualized to meet the unique needs of each student. I believe in a strengths-based approach, where I build upon what students already know and feel confident in, while targeting specific skill gaps with targeted strategies. I often incorporate hands-on activities, structured practice, and real-world examples to make learning meaningful and engaging. I also frequently use progress monitoring tools to ensure that students are making measurable growth and to adjust my instruction accordingly. My experience includes working with students with a variety of learning profiles, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral needs. I have found that building strong relationships and fostering a supportive, encouraging environment are key to helping students succeed.

With over seven years of experience in education, including time spent as a classroom teacher and as a specialized instructor for students with disabilities, I am confident in my ability to help students at all levels develop the skills they need to be successful.
