For more than 15 years, I have been a dedicated educator and tutor with a passion for helping students uncover their potential. I specialize in identifying the specific areas where students struggle and transforming those challenges into strengths through targeted, individualized instruction. My purpose as an educator is to ensure students not only understand core concepts efficiently, but also develop the ability to think creatively and independently. I firmly believe in the philosophy, “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime,” and I strive to instill skills that support lifelong learning rather than short-term success.
I have worked with the Department of Education for over 15 years and continually stay informed on new concepts and evolving curriculum standards to better support my students. From door-to-door private tutoring since high school to my current role as a math teacher at Merrick Academy Charter School, education has always been my calling. I work one-on-one with students, carefully tailoring each lesson to their individual needs and learning styles. As a patient and supportive tutor, my goal is to build confidence, empower students, and help them grow academically so they can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
