My name is Ester. I graduated with my Master's Degree in General and Special Education. I have three years of hands-on experience working with preschool through second grade students. I have been an assistant teacher in various grade levels, including nursery, pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade. I have also been a private tutor in preschool and elementary grades for three years. I have been a substitute teacher in elementary grades, as well. The focus has been primarily on early literacy, foundational math skills, and school readiness. As a tutor and educator, I've supported students with various learning styles, needs, and levels. I always try to meet each child where they are, build confidence, and help them reach their academic goals in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
My tutoring approach is individualized and engaging. I combine research-based strategies, hands-on learning tools, games, and visuals to ensure understanding of concepts. Whether your child needs reinforcement in reading, writing, science or math, I will create a customized plan that makes learning enjoyable and meaningful. I strongly believe in building relationships with students to ensure that they feel seen, successful, and heard. I look forward to helping each child thrive and reach their full potential.
