With over seventeen years of experience, I am eager to help your student succeed in school! I am a Princeton graduate (BSE Operations Research and Financial Engineering, minors in Teacher Preparation, Finance, and German Language). As part of the Teacher Preparation program (specialization in High School Mathematics), I was given the opportunity to teach lessons in multiple high school classrooms and learn about effective teaching methods that directly translate to the success of my tutees.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Over the past seventeen years, I have independently tutored high schools students in Earth Science (Regents, Honors), Biology (Regents, Honors, AP), Chemistry (Regents, Honors, AP), Physics (Regents, Honors, and AP), English (all levels), Social Studies (Regents, Honors, AP), SAT Prep, ACT Prep, and ALL levels of high school mathematics. I have also tutored Chemistry at the college level and have taught statistics to college students, Masters students, and PhD students. My experience in the Teacher Preparation program at Princeton taught me many teaching methods that I use while tutoring. I adapt my tutoring approach to every student as I learn about his/her learning style throughout our first session together.

On a voluntary basis, I have written English (vocabulary, writing, and grammar) and Study Skills curricula for middle schoolers in Princeton. Afterwards, I taught the curricula to students in the classroom, both as a teacher and as a small-group tutor. The ability to adapt the curricula and my teaching style to fit the needs of the students is invaluable when tutoring. Additionally, I volunteered at an elementary school in Miami where I worked as a one-on-one and group tutor for reading, writing, and language development.

In that time, I have prepared students for the Chemistry SAT II as well. At Princeton, I tutored students in both introductory and Honors Chemistry.
