I currently work in the SUNY system, I focus on helping students in the student involvement area or getting involved on campus outside of the classroom. I oversee honor societies, programming, events, and direct and coordinate many aspects of life outside of the classroom. In my undergraduate career I served as a writing tutor.

Through my graduate education I served at a public institution in Connecticut to help rebuild their tutoring center, overseeing the growth of the center from 8 tutors to 56. I oversaw and managed the tutors learning, meaning I trained them on how to be effective and ethical tutors and filled in whenever the English, psychology, or writing tutors needed an extra hand.

I have vast experience working with children, I have coached 5 years old, middle school, high school, and college sports, as well as working with students with special needs or emotional needs. My masters degree is in counseling with a specialization in college students and students with trauma in terms of domestic violence or sexual violence. I am compassionate, understanding, level headed, and always trying to match students needs to their learning experience.

My research based masters degree leaves me with a wide range of literary experience and analytic expertise. I also public speak and provide leadership trainings on campuses around the east coast.
