I graduated from Columbia College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, minoring in English. I am currently at the top of my class at Lindenwood University. In addition to my responsibilities as a student, I also serve as a Production & Editing Assistant for The Lindenwood Review, our literary magazine.
I am expected to graduate in 2024 with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Summa Cum Laude as a 4.0 student). I am also an inducted member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. To date, I have over five years of experience tutoring students in person, from ages six to adult. I specialize in writing, English, vocabulary and spelling.
During my undergraduate studies, I also interned as a Teaching Assistant for special needs students ages 5-12. I worked 1:1 with students to ensure they remained on task and understood the lesson plans, assignments and learning goals. I believe in patience, positive reinforcement, lots of encouragement and making learning fun. I am available to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or if you'd like to book a session with me!
