Hello and welcome! My name is Maureen and I have a BS in Chemistry (Forensics Concentration) from UAlbany and a PhD in Chemistry (Organic/Analytical) from University of Southern Mississippi. I want to make learning chemistry, science, and math fun and engaging for all!
I have been teaching professionally for 15+ years. I have experience teaching many courses, from middle school level to introductory college classes to graduate level courses. My teaching experience is varied - I have taught lecture courses ranging from 10 students to 100+ students. I have also led small recitation groups and tutoring students both one-on-one and in small groups of up to five students.

General Chemistry 1 and 2 (lecture and lab), Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 (lecture and lab), Principles of Chemistry, Principles of Organic Chemistry, Physical Sciences for Education Majors (lecture and lab), Spectroscopy
During graduate school, I worked alongside a high school teacher creating and teaching lessons and activities for his physical science and chemistry classes.
