My teaching philosophy is rooted in connection, confidence, and communication. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, practical, and built around real-life conversations. My approach focuses on helping learners speak naturally and confidently through interactive dialogue, pronunciation practice, and personalized lesson plans that match their goals and learning style. I make sure every student feels comfortable, supported, and motivated from day one.
I hold a TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, which allows me to blend strong communication skills with proven teaching techniques. During my TEFL practicum, I gained hands-on experience teaching both children and adults at beginner and intermediate levels. I led group lessons, one-on-one sessions, and conversation practice using methods like Total Physical Response (TPR), visual learning, and game-based activities to keep lessons dynamic and effective.
My experience also includes lesson planning, grammar instruction, and individualized tutoring. I’ve worked with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, focusing on helping each person find their voice in English. Whether you’re preparing for travel, interviews, or daily communication, I design each class to build practical skills and real confidence.
