Hello! My name is Uchechi, and I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and will be entering my fourth year. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my profile :) I am a tutor for the PSAT and SAT preparation, personal essay writing, Algebra I, and SolidWorks which is a 3D modeling software.
For nearly three years, I've been using SolidWorks through engineering coursework, research projects, and additive manufacturing applications. To add on, I've earned a strong score on both the PSAT and SAT which allowed me to get accepted to many top tier private universities all over the country as well as being a recipient of the African American National Recogintion Award presented by College Board. I have a strong proficiency in math and graduated high school with not only an Advanced Regions diploma, but also as the Valedictorian.
One of the things I love most about teaching is seeing that moment when a concept finally clicks. For the past three years, I've worked as a Teaching Assistant at my university, helping students navigate challenging material, answer questions, and develop the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I know that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand your goals and adapt our sessions to fit your learning style. Whether we're working through SAT practice problems, or designing a CAD model in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks, I focus on creating a supportive environment where questions are always welcome and mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn.
My goal is not just to help you find the right answer, but to help you understand the process behind it so that you leave each session feeling more confident and independent.
I'm excited to be part of your learning journey, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals. Thank you for reading, and I hope to work with you soon!
